Stretton Lower Hall is a sensitive residential scheme centred around a listed heritage property, comprising a three-bedroom cottage alongside four barn-conversion lettings: two two-bedroom units and one one-bedroom unit. The design carefully responds to the character and constraints of the listed buildings, balancing heritage significance with the requirements of high-quality, contemporary accommodation within a rural setting.

Commissioned by Cheshire-based property developer clients with a long-held ambition to live within a heritage environment, the project combines a private residence with a small portfolio of rental homes set discreetly within the grounds. Working closely alongside a well-respected planning consultant, we developed a clear and practical layout for each of the four lettings during an intensive design session, ensuring the proposals were robust, sensitive, and well-considered from the outset. Works to the cottage and barns are now underway, with completion anticipated in 2026.
