Stephanie Yates BA (Hons) PgDip Arch
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
With over 20 years of experience as an Architectural Designer, Stephanie Yates has previously led her own architectural and interior design consultancy helping homeowners and small businesses with architectural design.

Steph specialises in residential architecture, particularly extensions, refurbishments and sensitive work to existing buildings. She has a strong interest in creating homes that are calm, well balanced and practical, with spaces that feel natural and enjoyable to live in.
She particularly enjoys working with existing properties, from traditional and listed buildings to more contemporary homes, and finding design solutions that respect their character while supporting modern living. Steph is drawn to good natural light, honest materials and thoughtful detailing, and believes good design should feel intuitive as well as carefully considered.
Alongside residential work, Steph has extensive experience in healthcare and education projects, including leading design teams and delivering technically complex schemes. This breadth of experience has given her a strong understanding of both design quality and technical delivery, from early concept and planning through to detailed design and construction. Having run her own design consultancy, she brings a professional, reliable and thorough approach to every project, with clear communication at its core.
Outside of work, Steph enjoys art, reading and travel, as well as baking and discovering good food. She values time with her family and spends as much of it as possible outdoors, camping, walking and exploring new places together.
Pierre Bosmans (CertHE) EngTech TMIET
ARCHITECTURAL TECHNICIAN
Pierre Bosmans has 8 years experience in the Civils, Structural and Architectural disciplines as a technician and is professionally recognised as an Engineering Technician with the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology).
-
Since joining Speaks Design Studio in late 2023, Pierre has focused on residential architecture, an area he has always been genuinely passionate about. He enjoys working on homes where thoughtful layouts, good detailing and well considered spaces can make everyday life more comfortable and enjoyable. While much of his role involves producing clear and accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, he also likes being part of the wider design process, helping ideas develop from early concepts into solutions that are practical and buildable.
Learning on real projects alongside formal study gave him a solid, practical understanding of how buildings are put together and how good design translates into real world construction.
Pierre is known for his calm, friendly approach and attention to detail, and he enjoys working closely with both colleagues and clients to make the design process feel straightforward and collaborative. Outside of work, he loves travelling, spending time with friends and family, experimenting with film photography and getting outdoors for a run. A lifelong Lego builder, he has always enjoyed creating and problem solving, which naturally feeds into his love of architecture and design.
