The Looking Glass is a bold new salon concept inspired by a bohemian Alice in Wonderland aesthetic, bringing together hair styling, nail art, pedicures, tattooing, and specialist treatments within a single, immersive space. Designed for a family-run business in a prime Shrewsbury location, the interior is anchored by a striking feature metal staircase and carefully considered lighting, creating a distinctive environment that feels theatrical, welcoming, and memorable.

After Speaks Design Services designed the layout, the look was designed by interior designer Katharine McCullough (@katharinem_interiors), who is credited for all 3D visualisations shown and played a central role in shaping the character of the space. Planning and Building Regulations approvals were completed by Speaks Design Services at first submission, ensuring the creative vision was fully supported by a robust, compliant technical strategy.
